STORY OF THE PROPHET IDRIS A.S

Prophet Idris Idris or a.s. (Arabic: إدريس) is one of the apostles who was the son of Adam who first granted the right of prophecy by God after Adam himself and Shiyth as (Set by Jews and Christians). In the Bible, known as Idris Enoch.


Prophet Idris is the sixth descendant of the Prophet Adam, the son of Yarid Qinan bin bin bin Mihla'iel Anusy bin Adam bin Shiyth who became the first descendant of a prophet who was sent after Adam and Shiyth. According to the book of commentary, he lived 1,000 years after Adam died.

Prophet Idris was awarded skill in various disciplines, skills, and ability to create tools to facilitate human work, such as the introduction of writing, mathematics, astronomy, and so forth. According to one story, there is a period when most men would forget God that God punishes man with a form of prolonged drought. Prophet Idris estimated to live in Egypt where he was preaching to establish the religion of God, taught monotheism, worship and serve God and give some life to his followers pendoman to be saved from the doom of the world and the hereafter.

According to the book called The Prophet of God Enoch: Nabiyullah Idris, Idris is the Arabic term or name for Enoch, ancestor of Noah. He stated in the Qur'an as God's chosen man, so he picked it up at the sky. Ibn Abi Hatim narrated in his commentary that the Prophet Idris died when he was in the fourth heaven accompanied by an angel. He lived until the age of 82 years

1.Prophet Idris Guest Arrival

Then the king worshiped throughout the night. One night the Angel of Death came to him, carrying food from Heaven. Prophet Idris enjoy the food. Then the Prophet Idris said to the angel of death: "O my lord, let us enjoy this meal together." But Angel was rejected.

2. Angel Azrael kill the Prophet Idris at his request.

Then he asked: "O my lord, may I know who the real master? I am the Angel of Death. "

Then Allah revealed to the Angel of Death, so it take a life Idris as Idris then dicabutnyalah lives on the spot. So the Prophet Idris felt death at the time.

In the Angel of Death saw the death of Prophet Idris, then wept. With feelings of sadness he Hiba and beg to God that God may revive his friend. God granted his request, and the Prophet Idris was again brought to life by Allah SWT.

3. Azrael the angel brought the Prophet Idris a.s. to Heaven and to Hell

Then the Angel of Death Prophet Idris embraced, and he asked: "O my brother, how the master's death to feel pain? When an animal skin dilapah when he was alive, the pain of death a thousand times more pain than she. In fact, a tenderness that I did with the master, when my master is taking a human life, I've never done anything against sesiapa before the master. O Angel of Death, I have another request to the host, that I truly desire to see Hell, so I can pray to God more, after I witnessed the enormity of the fires of hell. Idris O a.s. I can not go to Hell if without the permission of Allah. "

Finally, Allah revealed to Angel that he brought to the Prophet Idris in Hell. So they both went to Hell. In Hell, the Prophet Idris a.s. can see everything created by Allah Almighty to punish his enemies. As the chains are hot, poisonous snake, when, the fire burning, boiling lead, the issues are fully spiked, heat water to a boil and others.

Having seen the state of Hell is satisfied that, then they went home. Then the Prophet Idris a.s. said to the angel of death: "O Angel of Death, I have another basic need, namely that the host can take to help me get into Heaven. So that I can see what-what has been provided by the Allah for the lover-lover of His. After that I was able to increase again I worship Allah SWT. I can not bring into the host of Heaven, without the command of Allah. "Answered the Angel of Death.

Then Allah ordered the angel of death so that he brought the Prophet Idris get into Heaven

Then they went together, so they got to the door of heaven, and they stopped at the door. From there the Prophet Idris can see the sights in Heaven. Prophet Idris can see all sorts of pleasures provided by Allah SWT to the guardian-the guardian. The form of fruits, the issues are beautiful and the rivers that flow and others.

Then the Prophet Idris said: "O my brother Angel of Death, I have felt the bitterness of death and I have seen the enormity of the fire of Hell. Then the lord pleaded mahukah to God for me, that God will let me into Heaven to be drinking water, to eliminate pain and the enormity of the dead fire of Hell? "

Then the Angel of Death was plead to God. Then God gave him permission to enter Heaven, and then have to go out again. Prophet Idris also enter into Heaven, he put his shoes under a tree of Heaven, and then he came out again from Heaven. Once he is outside, the Prophet Idris said to the angel of death: "O Angel of Death, I've left kasutku in Heaven.

Angel also says: Go to Heaven, and grab the shoe master. "

Then come the Prophet Idris, but he did not come out yet, so the Angel of Death called him: "Yes Idris, get out!. No, my Angel of Death, kerana Allah has said:

"Every soul shall taste death."

(Ali-Imran: 185)

While I have tasted death. And God said:

"And no one else than you, but it went to Hell."

(Maryam: 71)

And I've come to Hell. And the word of God again:

"... And they never will be excluded from it (Heaven)."

(Al-Hijr: 48)

Then Allah sent down revelation to the Angel of Death, "Let him, kerana azali I have set in, that it was going to live in Heaven."

God Tells the story of Prophet Idris was the Prophet Muhammad with His words: "And mention (O Muhammad to them, the story of) Idris WHO was in the Al-Quran. Indeed he is a very correct and a prophet. And we raised him to high dignity. "(Maryam: 56-57)

4. Prophet Idris a.s. in the Al-Quran and Hadith

There are four verses that relate to Idris in the Koran, in which the verses in Surah Maryam interconnected (Maryam) and Surah Al-Anbiya '(Prophets).

And mention (O Muhammad to them, the story of) Idris (who is) in the Al-Quran. Indeed he is a very correct and a prophet. And We raised him to high dignity. (Qur'an 19:56-57)

And (remember) Ismail, Idris and Dzulkifli. All of them including those who wait. We have incorporated them into Our mercy. Indeed they are among the righteous. "(Qur'an 21:85-86)

In a hadith, Idris is mentioned as one of the first prophets who spoke to Muhammad in heaven over one of the Mi'raj.

It was narrated from Abbas bin Malik: ... The gates have been opened, and when I went to the fourth heaven, there I saw Idris. Gabriel said (to me). 'This is Idris; give him salammu. "So I say hello to him and he greeted me and said. 'Welcome, O pious brother and pious Prophet.; ... Sahih Bukhari 5:58:227

Ibn Abbas said: "David was a maker of shields, Adam was a farmer, Noah a carpenter, Idris a tailor, and Moses was a shepherd." (From al-Hakim)
