After God gave to Abraham Ismail ‘ peace be upon the Prophet Ibrahim prayed to Allah Almighty Subhaanahu that given the child of his wife , Sarah ; wife who is always faithful to her in enforcing kalimatullah . And God answered his prayer and sent some angels in human form to convey the good news to him will be the birth of a child from his wife Sarah . They also tell their other goals , namely gone to the people of Lut to inflict doom them .
When the angels came to Abraham , he welcomes them as well as possible and sat them down in the living room , then he immediately prepared a banquet for them . Ibrahim, peace be upon is the one who always glorify as a guest on the generous side .
Not long after , Ibrahim, peace be upon coming to bring a fat calf that has been baked and serve it to them , but they do not eat and do not drink the banquet that has served it , until finally the Prophet conceived a fear of them , the angels also calm him down and tell him about themselves and give him the glad tidings of a child who is ‘ alim ( knowledgeable )
At that time, she heard their conversation , it came in a state of wonder at the good news that they convey , how she will give birth while she was an old woman again sterile ( when it was the age of 90 years ) , while her husband are elderly ( see letter Hud : 72 ) . Then the angel said , ” So Lord memfirmankan . Verily He is the All-Wise , All- Knowing . ” ( Surat adh Dzaariyat : 30 )
Hearing the news, the Prophet Ibrahim was to be calm and happy ; awaited what turned out to be forward to it arriving .
After a time , then came what was expected , namely his wife Sarah gave birth to a child who later was named Ishaq by Ibrahim, peace be upon . At that time , the age of the Prophet Abraham 100 years . Ishaq was born fourteen years after the birth of Ishmael .
The Glorious Qur’an does not mention at length the story of Prophet Ishaq ‘ peace be upon , as well as about the people who sent them Prophet Ishaq . But God praise Prophet Ishaq in several places in the Qur’an , including :
And remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are having great deeds and sciences tinggi. – Verily We have purified them with ( confer to them ) highly moral is always remind ( men ) the country – and indeed their akhirat. with Us actually includes the choice of the most good . ” ( Surah Sad : 45-47 )
Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘ alaihi wa sallam also praised Prophet Ishaq in his saying ,
الكريم , ابن الكريم , ابن الكريم , ابن الكريم يوسف بن يعقوب بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم عليهم السلام
” The noble son of the noble son of the noble and glorious is the son of Joseph the son of Jacob , son of Isaac , son of Abraham . ” ( Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim )
People of the Book said that when he married Rafqah Ishaq bint Batu’il when his father ( Prophet Ibrahim ) is still alive , at the time he was 40 years old . His wife is barren , then the Prophet Isaac prayed to God for him , until she became pregnant and gave birth to children who are twins , the first named ‘ Iishuu . Arabs menyebutnyta ‘ iish ; been the ancestor of the Romans . The second named Jacob . Jacob called because he was born in the state holding the heel of his brother . He also called Israel , which is the ancestor of the Children of Israel .
After completing his duties as a prophet and apostle , the Prophet Ishaq ‘ peace be upon death .
Done with the help of God and His taufiq , sallallaahu wa ‘ alaa Muhammad nabiyyinaa wa ‘ alaa aalihi shahbihi wa wa sallam .
